This was an appropriate Tuesday night movie. It had gratuitous nudity, violence, bad taste humor, and the most pathetic car chase of all time. It was clearly taking its cues from Pulp Fiction. Not to say that this was anywhere near as good as Pulp Fiction, it was just a similar movie in presentation. This is the second movie we've seen that involves a trip to Vegas (Very Bad Things being the other). I imagine that Vegas must hate these movies because they have people going to Vegas, having a blast and then getting into serious trouble that leaves people either dead or badly wounded. It's not exactly positive advertising.

The movie was entertaing and pretty well written. The story is looked at three times from different characters' perspective. It all ties together neatly at the end. Again, very similar to Pulp Fiction. There are some interesting twists as the plot carefully leads you somewhere predictable before suddenly going somewhere you weren't expecting. Thankfully, considering all involved, it didn't sail in to Wild Things waters.

As always, an extra half star for gratuitous nudity, although it nearly lost it for excessive male nudity.

Another movie about Vegas and another nasty incident involving, ahem, "dancers." I'm thinkin maybe we should move my bachelor party to a safer place. Say Salt Lake City maybe. If Mad Matt sets a hotel room on fire while getting busy with two women, well, that would be pretty damn cool. We'd have to give him his props there. But if he shoots a bouncer at a strip club, he's on his own.
