DVD Releases for 14 November, 2000
Well, this week is in line with the whole every other week scenario that we've had lately. Last week was a dvd bonanza, as is next week. (Chicken Run, X-Men, Gladiator, etc.) But as for this week, well....you're probably better off saving your money.
- The Perfect Storm - George Clooney, Mark Walberg and a great supporting cast, including cool character actor William Fichtner, go fishin' and get caught in a storm. It's a good thing this really happened, or else it would have been even more boring.
- Pokemon 2000 - sweet jesus, does anybody care?...anybody who's anybody knows DIGIMON is where it's at.
- Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Fantasia Anthology - buy one, the other, or both. Disney's epic marriage of animation and classical music stands as an all-time classic. If you're five.
- Hamlet - The Ethan Hawke/Julia Stiles version.
- Twin Peaks, Vol. 1 - The pilot and first seven episodes of David Lynch's offbeat TV thriller.
note -- these 2 were supposed to street today, but word is they've been delayed, which is too bad. this could be the weakest slate in recent memory.
uh....that's it folks. Just watch your purchases from last week again with the commentary on this time. You may even learn something, you slackjawed gawkers...
