Proof of Life -- comes with director Taylor Hackford commentary track, theatrical trailers, and a "making of" documentary. Not a whole lot, but this was a box-office disappointment, and the disc reflects this. I couldn't be bothered to see this one myself, but you can check out Shea's review if you're curious (Ed. - I couldn't be bothered either).

The Pledge -- well, you get a good movie, and little else. I was really looking forward a commentary track by director Sean Penn, but no such luck. It's worth checking out though for Nicholson's performance, as well as solid turns by Aaron Eckhart and Mickey Rourke. (yes, really)

Save the Last Dance -- but don't buy this movie. Unless it's purely to look at Julia Stiles, and then it's acceptable. By this week's standards, it's a relatively stacked disc: commentary by director Thomas Carter, theatrical trailers, "making of" doc, K-Ci and Jo-Jo Music Video, and deleted scenes.

State and Main -- the most recent film from acclaimed (legendary, really) auteur David Mamet. Features an incredible cast: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sarah Jessica Parker, William H. Macy, Alec Baldwin, and once again, Julia Stiles. DVD comes with a commetary track and some DVD-ROM content.

Robotech Macross Sage Vol. 1 -- Robotech! 'Nuff said. Three disc set includes episdoes 1-12, and a third disc limited to this set, "Codename: Robotech" - home video premiere, gallery of animation character model sheets, and scenes from various international versions of Robotech.
